the challenge is on for 2024

After a successful pilot programme in 2023 we are back!  Last year during our 3-month pilot in schools we logged 29,582 journeys with 2,993 students participating.  Let’s see what we can achieve this year between February and November with schools and businesses participating!

For 2024 we’re running the Te Wero ia Wenerei Challenge in schools supported by Mercury to encourage even more students and teachers to change the way they travel to and from school.  

This year businesses are also invited to join Te Wero ia Wenerei! That’s right…if you are a business or organisation in Tairāwhiti we invite you to lead by example and join us. It will be great for your team’s health and wellbeing, the environment and team camaraderie.
