HEY CHRISTCHURCH SCHOOLS
Let’s see what we can achieve this year as the Wednesday Challenge in schools, supported by
Mercury, changes the way we travel to school.
Made possible thanks to the Christchurch City Council, the Wednesday Challenge encourages
students and teachers to bus, bike, walk, run, scooter or mode share their way to school. It’s our
way of reducing road congestion and carbon emissions, reducing school gate congestion and
encouraging better health and wellbeing.
Making the Challenge even more fun and exciting for students and schools is the amazing cash prizes
and rewards we have up for grabs, thanks to our amazing friends and supporters at Mercury.
